Winter’s refusing, so we prepare for spring!

After two cold and really snowy winters many of us expected another winter of the same kind. But that was obviously not meant to be. Maybe it will come eventually, but we decided to prepare for spring. We are really looking forward to present yet another fantastic collection of shoes! We are pretty sure that you will get problems with choosing just one pair to be your favourites. I want that, that and that! And that! You see, we are curious to know your thoughts. And it’s not far away. Soon enough you will find the spring collection both here at the site and of course in stores.

Visiting Åre

When having some time over I went to Åre, to visit my dearest friend Andrea. Andrea has a genuine interest in shoes and keep XXX shoes in her collection. When looking around I could see everything from colourful pumps to folklore beaky boots. She even made a corner of her home, especially for some of her absolute favourite shoes mixed with interior details creating a cosy and personal piece of her home. Inspiring!

Burning calfs

I just realised where my limit for wearing high heeles is. They are impossible to wear right after training boxing. My calf of legs are very short and like matchsticks today! Note to self: 1) Do stretching exercises 2) Wear flat shoes for a couple of days.

Prepared for frozen days?

The winter is waiting for its entry. Not even in the northern parts of Sweden, where the snow normally lies deep at this time of year. But both snow and cold is just around the corner, mark my words. Many are you who is waiting for those chilly nights and plan to wear a pair of nice boots. We recommend you to prepare for these nights already now. Before you know it the favourites will be gone, or suddenly the winter’s here and without boots you might catch a cold. One of those pairs you could easily fall in love with is BRUJAS Second Hand!

Peptalk for fall

The fall is rather cold, dark and quite hard in many ways. It might be a little bit like a cliché to say – but I really like the autumn! To take a walk, carrying a mug of coffe, looking at all the colourful and crispy leaves on the ground – it’s nice. I’m longing for my TUVA boots that will soon arrive. They will be perfect for this season!

Thousands of visitors

We are very pleased to find out how quickly Sixtyseven’s gained recognition. Our website was launched early September and already we have thousands of visitors, sometimes daily! A brave friend

To be on stage, with spotlights pointing at you, NAKED, might be my worst nightmare. Yesterday I saw my friend Anna Åström being in that exact situation, when performing at the musical Hair at the Community Theatre of Stockholm. Then I turn to my friend beside me and say, ”I have to stop thinking that I cannot wear a tank top for the reason of having ugly arms. I definitely can wear a tank top, its just arms!” Now my worst nightmare is no longer being naked on stage, it’s to not understand that life is so much more than hiding upper arms.

Store visit in Uppsala & Stockholm

We’ve been on a small trip to visit two of our resellers, August Johansson in Uppsala and Zoe in Stockholm.

August Johansson is a traditional shoe store with a large and wide range. The store is newly renovated with a great sure instinct. Very nice! And of course we are mighty proud that Sixtyseven is well represented in the store. We found ANGE Plain zip (one of this autumn’s hot items) on an eye-catching podium.

Zoe is a more niche shoe store with a trendy assortment that is suitable for both everyday use and for parties. We met with Hanna, who is working in the store, for a chat (and this particular day she was wearing a pair of Petra Laced in camo). She’s a true source of inspiration for every shoe addict. Just get there and let her teach you about the running trends!

Vintage hunting

Many young hipsters hustled at Strand this weekend, to take part of the colourful creations at the Vintage Fair. When looking at the feet walking around we didn’t see that colourfully shoes, but nuances of beautifully worn in shoes, mainly in black or brown. But I managed to get a sneak view of some daring people!

Shoe designer, every girl’s dream job?

First of all I want to introduce myself as one of the bloggers at Sixtysevenshoes.com. My name is Hanna and I work for Anders Ståhl Trading, Scandinavian agent for Sixtyseven.

My main function at work is product development, which means I’ve got the favour of working close to the designers at Sixtyseven.

One of the most important things in our work is to get input from you, as being our customer. Today I mainly get that information from all the stores selling Sixtyseven, but with our blog running I would like to get your point of view right here, right now! Is there any particular kind of shoe you miss in our assortment? Are there any colours or details that you are missing? Please let us know!
