Sun powder – but not in Japan

solhatt

Sun is shining on my very pale skin, and I try to accelerate my spring look with the sun powder that I bought at the airport. As soon as my nose got a little bit of tan my Korean friend screamed and wodered why I have a powder that is DARK!? The Asian look is definitely pale and porcelain look-a-like. They use all the tools they can find to guarantee the look. I could see umbrellas, umbrella hats, and white powder just by looking around. What shoes would go to a white face?

On the other side of earth everyone sees me

Japan

Nowadays I wake up in Japan. I’ll spend a few months here studying and I will let you know about the lifestyle over here. I live in a room that is supplied with what everyone really needs. That means I’ve got a board with buttons with a hotline to the police, the fire department and the hospital! I also have a two metres hig Air conditioner! I’m fully equipped. Outside my window is Japan and I hardly have time to twinkle, because I’m afraid of lose something. Everything is totally different and I always find myself staring with my mouth wide open. But it’s the other way around too. Everyone is staring at me, the only blond girl in the hoods. The only blond girl at school, in the restaurant, in the streets, in the park, in the stores. I will share with you all the things I find exciting and beautiful in Kyoto, where I will spend my next four months!

The Elle gala of 2012

55-Alicia-Vikander

The Elle gala in the Winter garden at Grand Hotel in Stockholm was jam packed with beautiful creations and also included the beautiful hostess Carina Berg! While I was struggling with millions of goodiebags I could hear the price ceremony going on, one floor ahead of me. But maybe I was the happiest and most proud anyway, since my dear friend Alicia received the price for “Best dressed woman”. /Anna

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

julgran

Christmas is close and the new year is just a week away. When summing up the year that’s passed we do it with a smile. It’s definitely been a nice year for Sixtyseven in Scandinavia. For the first time we’ve been seen for real in the media. And the response did not wait very long! Soon enough we will take the next step, new collections will arrive and once again we are ready to make you suprised. But first of all we will take a break and charge the batteries. We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

A wished-for friend

Alicia_1

To be able to gather all the close friends in one and the same city, around one table – that’s a hard one. Especially since we’re all eager to start our own careers after years and years in the school bench. When my close friend Alicia is coming home from London for a few days, to gather her closest at LeBar, we gather at the table as lawyers, organists, opticians, actresses, assistant directors, still students, and for just one night we only have time for each other. That’s truly happiness!

Which super power would you choose?

Yesterday my friends and me had really nice tapas at Café Tabac. When five girls get together you won’t have to wait long until the subject will be about boys. Yesterday’s topic was about boys and what super power that would be the very best. The winning power was logic – to be able to see things from a guy’s point of view (competing with the ability to fly, being invisible, having a rubber arm and the capacity of shooting fire).

My mind reminded me of a crazy book ”A woman’s handbook” which I got from my grandma. It describes the most absurd procedures expected from a woman to please the men (probably written before the 50’s). The funniest chapter has the headline ”Don’t show this to your husband!” which said, ”No man is looking for appreciation (it’s only women carrying such utopian thoughts). A man wants to be loved and worshiped, that’s all.” That quote is totally crazy (mainly because the complete book is about understanding a man’s wants and needs and to form yourself to that) but that’s what makes it so easy to think that life might not have to be harder than wanting to be loved. And you do not have to be a man to understand that!

Sixtyseven on Facebook – naturally!

If you’re not on the Internet you don’t exist at all. That was how it was before. The same thing is now more or less true, only this time it’s Facebook. No Facebook page?! How will people even know you exist? So naturally you can also find us on Facebook. Go in and “like” us so you can be sure to not miss any valuable news!
